- Why does everything feel flat?
- How much longer will I feel like this?
- If I can just get over this one thing, I know I’ll feel better.

Our virtual therapists work in California with a wide range of treatment areas such as anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, the entertainment industry, life transitions, and maternal mental health.
Our practice of online therapists in California can serve those living within the state. We believe that everyone deserves access to mental health treatment. Because of this, our primary goal is to make therapy more accessible. We’ve done this in two ways:
We offer online therapy, also known as teletherapy or virtual therapy in California. Our team is licensed in California and can serve anyone living within the state.
Our online therapy practice accepts insurance and offers sliding scale rates. We understand that cost can be a barrier for those seeking a therapist. By accepting insurance we hope to make our services available to more people.
Our team of skilled and compassionate therapists share the same values and approach to therapy.
We offer a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Not sure if we can help? Reach out and we’ll set you in the right direction.
At Best Life Therapy, all clinicians provide integrative, trauma-informed, and relationship-focused care.

We offer online therapy in Califonia. We accept clients from all over the state of California including
but not limited to:
All you need to do is reach out to us. You don’t need to know your diagnosis or treatment goals before contacting us. This is often part of our initial work together. If you’re not sure if therapy is right for you we’ll gladly provide a brief, initial phone consultation to address any questions you might have.
Many therapists don’t work with insurance companies. The good news is, Best Life Therapy does accept insurance! We’re In-Network with Optum/United Health Care, Aetna, and First Health Insurance plans. We also accept and are in network with UMR, Oxford, Motion Picture Insurance (MPI), Nippon, Meritain, Moda, Sutter Health, GEHA and Magellan. Best Life Therapy is also a contracted provider with CalVCB (Victims of Crime).
Best Life Therapy is considered out-of-network with all other insurance providers however, you can still use your out-of-network benefits. To do this, you pay the fee directly at the time of service and we will provide you with a monthly “super bill” to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement towards your out-of-network deductible. It’s best to talk with your insurance provider about using out-of-network benefits.
Virtual therapy costs vary depending on the provider. At Best Life Therapy we have providers with a range of experience, expertise, and credentials. Below is a cost breakdown:
Individual and Couples Sessions
Studies have shown that virtual therapy is just as effective as meeting in person. It’s up to you which one feels right. One of the biggest indicators of successful therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist. We have many highly qualified and caring therapists so you can find the perfect fit.
You can only be prescribed medication by a doctor. The same is true for medications used to treat mental health conditions. In this case, you would need to be treated by a medical doctor. At Best Life Therapy we do not prescribe medication but do work with patients who are taking medication under the care of a doctor.
No, you can choose whatever space is most comfortable for you. Online therapy provides location flexibility. You can meet from your home, office, car, or any other safe and confidential location.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs, like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
