Dr. Lauren Snyder, PsyD
Psychological Associate
ABOUT ME
Dr. Snyder believes that therapy helps because the therapeutic relationship cultivates greater self-awareness and understanding of relational and behavioral patterns, mobilizing self-directed change, values-guided living, and reliable self-esteem. While Dr. Snyder tends to work out of a psychodynamic modality, she integrates other evidence-based therapy modalities to meet the unique needs of each individual patient.

Dr. Snyder works with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and other adjustments or life transitions. She has training and experience in treating trauma-related disorders, including the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to facilitate the integration of painful memories.

Dr. Snyder welcomes patients from all backgrounds and lifestyles and believes therapy works best when patients feel heard, understood, respected, and valued. When working with Dr. Snyder, you can expect warmth, unconditional positive regard, and a genuine interest in knowing you.
