Ashley Hutton, LCSW
Staff Therapist

ABOUT ME
Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), mother, climber, Japanese-American, and lifelong Southern Californian. She understands that healing is not about perfection but about progress, growth, and self-compassion. With warmth and steadiness, Ashley creates a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their challenges and strengths at their own pace. She believes in walking alongside people as they navigate life’s twists and turns, guided by the philosophy: “I don’t know where I’m going, but I know how I will get there.”
Ashley works with teens, adults, and couples who are facing trauma, anxiety, and depression, as well as those struggling with perfectionism, imposter syndrome, body image concerns, caregiver stress, and major life transitions. She is trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring her approach to meet each individual’s needs with compassion and evidence-based care.
With over 15 years of experience in community mental health, Ashley has worked with people facing some of life’s most difficult challenges—including survivors of natural and human-made disasters, individuals re-entering their communities after incarceration, and those leaving extremist ideologies behind. She firmly believes that when individuals heal, communities become stronger, and she is deeply committed to helping her clients move toward a more hopeful and empowered future.
